She feels lucky to be happily married to a chiropractor who is an amazing husband and father, who also keep their family so healthy and happy.

Because of their life and happiness, Michelle’s mission is providing help for moms, and helping others live a happy life as well. So that is why she created and founded ihelpmoms.com.

With her marketing & business degree, she worked 10 years in professional sports.

She loved working in a professional field. She loved her job and loved working. And even when she became a mom, she still wanted to be a career woman!

But she started thinking, “I have kids now but how can I still work and make a positive impact on the world?”

With her marketing & business degree, she worked 10 years in professional sports.

She loved working in a professional field. She loved her job and loved working. And even when she became a mom, she still wanted to be a career woman!

But she started thinking, “I have kids now but how can I still work and make a positive impact on the world?”

Michelle’s childhood

She was born in an orphanage in the slums of Calcutta, India.

She was luckily adopted by a wonderful Irish family, and grew up in Oregon.

They taught her to be educated, committed, hard-working, and empowered. This is of course something Michelle is so grateful for.

The start of something new

During her first pregnancy and directly after her birth, Michelle had gained a lot of weight. She wasn’t exercising or eating nutritious foods.

Consequently, the birth was horrible. Michelle had a large baby for her size. She couldn’t walk for about 2 months, couldn’t hold her new baby, and breast feeding was awful.

Due to this, she ended up having a lot of mom guilt. If you feel like she did, know that you’re not alone. All we can do is move forward, maybe help ourselves, and similarly help others in the process.

One morning Michelle walked into her family room and said to her husband: “I’m a smart, educated, loving person. But I fouled up this first time mom-thing!”

She needed a doula that could help her after the birth. She needed a baby nurse, and a lactation consultant to help her breastfeed or know how to supplement. Michelle wanted a pediatrician to come to her house. She could barely get up to go to the bathroom, so there was no way she could make it to the pediatrician right away. She needed help for moms.

Michelle even wanted her hair done! She had never felt so bad about herself. All she wanted was to just get her hair cut!

As a result, with all these worries piling up, she consequently started to spiral into postpartum depression.

As a matter of fact, many moms are suffering with mom guilt so they handle things on their own thinking they have to, and thinking they can’t ask for help.

That’s when ihelpmoms was born.

Michelle wanted one place online to where moms can visit to find everything they need to make motherhood easier, to find that help for moms. And not just for one type of lifestyle either.

In fact this is a site that has every type of resource, no matter what type of parent you want to be so we can give our kids the very best.

In other words, we need to focus on the positivity of being moms together. Let’s judge less and love more. That’s when we can become the best moms, best wives, best partners, and best parents to our kids seeing that love in the world.

Most noteworthy, Michelle gets nothing out of this except for the pure joy in helping others and providing help for moms! 🙂 That’s pretty incredible.

The site:

ihelpmoms focuses on moms that are pregnant ranging to those with kids up to 5 years in age.

It is mainly for expectant moms, newer moms, moms in a new location, so that way we never feel isolated or alone.

Examples of resources:

First, Michelle works to network with the top experts in their fields. Since she is nursing all the time, she’s waking up at all hours in the night. She has a lot of time to spend online, so as a result she’s constantly doing research.

Michelle finds those pediatricians, lactation consultants, hair dressers that will come to your house. She wants to be the mom that helps moms get to those resources.

The site has a wide variety. For example, anything from doulas, birth coaches, marriage consultants, baby shower venues, and all the way to pre-schools.

Is this mainly a directory to find resources or does it have topics/ discussions?

This is a directory, but it is expanded and detailed unlike any other directory. Therefore the providers and experts really expand on their skills. There are pictures, their bios & interests. It’s more personalized than a typical directory.

Michelle says moms need a little TLC. We’re a little like unsung heroes! Don’t you agree?!

ihelpmoms recognizes that.

So because of that, Michelle asks each expert to give moms a VIP deal, an upgrade, or a special experience for their child. This way we all know the experts care about us moms!

ihelpmoms is a nationwide site. And Michelle is receiving inquiries every day internationally!

Is there anything we as the audience can lend Michelle or assist with?

Reach out to your service providers, pediatricians, obgyns and tell them about ihelpmoms. Tell them how great of a resource it is, how you love the services, and to have them help the site in any way they can.
